Jacket Manufacturing: Luftgekuhlt x Marine Machine

Here at The Atlas Groupe, we pride ourselves in the attention to detail we give to all of our projects and clients. Needless to say, this was a project that took an immense amount of detail.

Alongside all of the advertising and marketing work we do, we also are a premium apparel manufacturer and product design company. We specialize in American made apparel and workwear. So when the boys over at Luftgekuhlt and Marine Machine reached out, requesting we design and manufacture a premium American made WWII inspired Deck Jacket, excited was an understatement. We get to do a lot of cool projects, but this was beyond. Our job was to source all of the materials needed, grade and manufacture the product. We used a heavy British Millerin tech wax canvas for the exterior, quilted black satin for the inside lining, woven ribbed cuffs for the end of the sleeves, straps to fasten the jacket, porcelain green buttons, and many other custom accesories. The collaboration between the two companies was to commemorate the 6th annual Luftgekuhlt event, to be held at Paramount Studios Back Lot in Hollywood. The backdrop of the event was to line up hundreds of classic and modern Porsche's alongside all of the studio and movie sets. The event catered to thousands of guests and was a completely sold out show.
